The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA might be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The service point designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who SRD stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra status sassa methods to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
